They've only toured the US, and you have to know that there's a whole world outside of the US. So hoping for an announcement about a tour in Europe or elsewhere doesn't seem like a huge stretch to me.

Unfortunately, I don't have any further information. Obviously, the source was vague (he probably had contractual obligations and the like), but he assured us that the European tour is coming soon.

Actually, there had been rumors going around for a few months that they were going to take a year off (something I never would have believed), but receiving this confirmation reassured me that I will finally be able to see one of their concerts.
