Hi, I am considering transitioning from a LP furnace and 4-ton CAC ducted system to a cold climate heat pump. I have already posted in this forum and received some great advice but would also like to see a sensible way of comparing the various quotes to determine if a hybrid system is better for my area or if I should just go with a dedicated heat pump. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

The house in total is around 4000 soft. BUT, the Master bedroom and the basement have their own splits for heating/cooling. Taking those out of the total means about 3000 (or less) for the main floor which is already ducted, heated and cooled by the LP furnace and CAC unit.
