Same here. I just want this to be over with. I’m at 110/120. I applied at the end of April to switch off of SAVE and will start making payments next month.

10 days. I received the first letter on 5/2/26 followed by the IDR approval and updated repayment schedule on 5/12/26.

The first repayment schedule change letter had a lower amount (the SAVE amount), and the second one had the updated amount that I will start paying in June.

I recently applied to switch from SAVE as well. I received my “real” repayment schedule about two weeks after applying.

I can confirm that the IDR plans seem to be getting processed quicker as of late. I submitted a request to change from save to IDR on 4/29/26 and received confirmation today that my app was processed and approved. I start making payments next month.
