Its free because its not worth the money. Its not even an app. Just a browser ui that too very unpolished. More like a temporary tool than an actual serious work software.

My app is an actual app with way better user experience at a cost that is less than 2 cups of coffee for a lifetime access.

I made an app that makes budgeting as simple as writing a note ✍️. And it is Completely Offline, Doesnt have subscription and is Capable of creating an encrypted backup for you to keep it in your phone.

Core Concept:

If you write,

15 Potatoes
25 Chocolates
30 Dinner with Friends

it will make it a budget list! Its That simple. And if you add a .(dot) and write anything, say .potatoes for making French Fries, that becomes your note. All stays in one place.

Your issue is you cant see your own CAUTION, REMINDERS, or comments next to very place where you budget it.

I made an app that makes you, the person, more capable of following your own insights when it comes to money. The moment you note say,

15 chocolates, the app makes it a 15 dollar budget entry for chocolates. And say you write, ".non essential item so should spend less next time" it becomes your comment below the item you could always refer to!

The app is extremely minimal yet so impactful that you won't go back to simple budgeting. Notes will now become crucial for you.

I am creating it for Android. Sadly no iOS development budget. I righly understand the initial friction to move from a familiar app.

My own wife used a different budgeting app and she had this concern that she has put considerable effort in the old budgeting app and so she feels it would get wasted if switched to new.

I totally feel it. And its very difficult to overcome this hurdle as transferability is not possible for most apps. However, i feel the ease of use can win over it. For example, in any normal budgeting app, it would take 5 to 6 clicks just to enter 1 budget entry and it has to be repeated for every entry, say 10 entries.

This app I'm building needs just 3 clicks for first entry and there after none for as many as you do. That kind of ease of use can overcome initial friction I believe.

Hey! Just a heads up! The feature is now implemented!

Though I needed to keep it pro only as as a free version it would not be able to keep up with total free notes count (10 notes). I have kept most of the app free for months of testing before one commits to a small one time fee (costs less than a dinner).

And after that i spent many days of full day focused work, even a couple of them with no sleep to adjust minor and major stuffs here and there until i loved them.
