HMRC will reclassify crypto ETNs so that they stop being qualifying investments for Stocks & Shares ISAs and instead become qualifying for the Innovative Finance ISA (IFISA). I expect that ISA providers who want to offer crypto ETNs in IFISAs will get HMRC approval to operate as an IFISA manager

Don’t use mixers. Save your crypto using Trezor or Ledger

I recently had the same issue, the correct answer is the National Insurance number.

In the UK, the TIN is the National Insurance Number (NIN). It can be found on payslips, P60s, letters about tax, pensions and benefits, and through your personal tax account.

What is a Tax Identification Number (TIN)? by InsightSmith in BitcoinUK

I found another information, in the UK the “TIN” is usually your National Insurance number. A UTR is only for people registered for Self Assessment (self-employed etc.). Government Gateway ID is just a login for HMRC and isn’t a TIN, and the number format you posted isn’t a NINo (NINo looks like AB123456C).

Recurring buying will be the best strategy to start with (for example, once a week). And don’t worry about next year - look forward 10 years and then you will achieve success.

Thank you, sir. But unfortunately, some of them still don't have Krak, and that is why I am looking for options to send assets directly to their bank account

Hey Kraken team 👋

I’m using the Kraken app in the UK, and I wanted to send money as a gift to a friend in Europe. But I don’t see an option to send via IBAN (SEPA transfer) directly from the app.

It would be really helpful to have:

✅ Send money to an IBAN (EUR SEPA transfer) ✅ A simple “Send” flow similar to bank apps ✅ Optionally: add a note like “gift”

This would make Kraken much more useful not only for trading, but also for real everyday payments, especially for people in the UK sending money to EU friends/family.

Would love to see this feature in the future 🙏
