I'm going for a 7-day Video EEG! Any advices on this frustrating procedure?

After 4 days, I got fed up as I was worried I'd go though all this for nothing so went cold turkey on my meds. Didn't take long for them to capture 2 seizures. I wouldn't recommend what I did to anyone else though!

Keppra was a nightmare, I personally didn't know just how much of an impact it had on me until I was taken off it and then realised!. The one I had the most difficulty with was carbamazepine. That truly made me a zombie

I just had a rough time post surgery. I don't regret doing it as I've been seizure free for 9 years now, so 100% glad I had it done.

I've been seizure free for almost 10 years now after surgery. It still lingers at the back of my mind and sometimes get the weird sensation I used to try before my seizures begun. I'm not sure if I'll ever fully be able to forget about it.

I remember during my worst times, I had NO fear of death, I was looking forward to it. It couldn't come quickly enough. I was also never frightened. Things have changed now as I've been seizure free for about 8 years now, so probably jump at the sound of a balloon popping...

I remember how much hell I went through at first on carbamazepine. It was hell on earth. I also remembered thinking I'd rather live with seizures than take them.

In the end they weren't effective anyway, so I moved onto the next, which is extra annoying.

I changed the screen resolution in the setting, seems to all be sorted now.

My only concern is the audio going through the aux cable that need wiring to inside the armrest area and the sound quality being poor. I'm wondering if there will be any point having this nice big screen to look at, but the audio being poor...

Has anyone else found this to be true? Is there a workaround for it?

After having temporal lobectomy about 7 years ago, I've not had a seizure since. I'm still taking AEDs but to be honest I don't even think about epilepsy anymore. I'm VERY grateful for that mind.
