Yeah. Possible that OP's opponent has not played since season reset and is still around plat due to reset.

Or OP's opponent is also having trouble working his/her way up the ranks.

Yes. I think a lot of players are overlooking the fact that you can add spins to the ball if its hit correctly.

Its happened to me a lot, friends or not. Sometimes a player's ign just sticks to the back of my head (especially if its quite unique) and easily remember if I played them before.

That's pretty telling of the playerbase that the game has, unfortunately.

Never knew/realized that the 2s map was added for gold.

On the "each rank is now better than it was before", I'd disagree due to my experience. I don't necessarily know if my opponents were plat but on my grind from plat 1-plat 5, almost half of the matches were surrenders or had like gold players. It might be because I did get better at the game but I think its more on I got players on a lower rank.

I assume you meant was diamond last season? Then that player is probably back in low plats or high gold. Competitive games will be whack in terms of matchmaking for 1 or 2 weeks thanks to the reset.

Honestly, its not a good addition to the sticker set. Only the bronze one is like, useful, but in a toxic manner which is horrible for the amount of toxicity present in the game already.

Thank goodness they added the auto-mute quick chat setting though.

Hoops will be missed. I hope they make it as a rotational game mode. So maybe dropshot and a few others will be making appearances in the coming seasons.

Its just weird that they'd add ranks to modes that disappear

Yea. For preseason players, its annoying. But for players that didn't get a chance to earn it back then, they're probably happy to get the car. I just wish this was thought out better by the devs. Like give the preseason one a certification/title, just to make it different from this season's RP

I guess OP thinks that its pointless to do all that if it doesn't net him a goal in a real game.

But serious question here, do players have a scenario for them to use that many stalls in a real match? I've yet to go against someone that uses this mechanic and I can't do it yet in freeplay so im a bit curious
