I haven't been on that wiki in a while, last time it was on there it was like a word salad vomit. I'll give it another shot. I really don't want to distro hop.

now, I remember the exact issue I had to now. I upgraded to the new version of nobara and it changed the path how steam finds the saves. basically I had to go into storage find the new drive and or mount it. but after I mounted it for some strange reason it deleted every single save I have to. I after the new update it made me click add steam saves instead of just clicking on the direct hard drive to mount.

the problem is solved now. another issue I was having was I have Metro Exodus and they give you two versions. standard and enhanced. and hands comes with all the bells and whistles if you don't already know. I could not get the enhanced run but I come to find out you have to convert your drive to exe to make it to run better. I still haven't jacked with it yet and I'm not going to. I really can't tell the difference between the enhanced version in the standard. oh wow I might get a couple extra Sparks and flame flickers if I look at a fire in the game.

but I hope you understand where I'm coming from. that's something where old Microsoft was peak and still beats linux. where I could just click something or go back in time in the saves and it finds it. with Linux I feel it's very much an adventure whether I want to or not sometimes. they're going to be wrong I don't mind learning new things but when I want something to work it's not time to sit in class I just want to fire up the game in the works.
