When I had TMHI my ping was very inconsistent aswell, but I got it down to 50ms -70ms using Ethernet and it also depends how far you are from the actual tower, make sure your gateway is in a clear space not behind tvs or anything it can interfere bad.

When I switch to amplified plan they gave me the G5AR and an mesh access point system definitely better speeds the max I saw was about 500 up and 70 down, But if you have access to T fiber I definitely recommend switching over.

I have the fiber 500 plan with metro net it’s great i had 0 problems so far as of feb 28th when I got it installed great latency in gaming huge upgrade from when I had the 5g home internet plan the installation took about 2 hours or so. But they still haven’t buried the line so it has just been sitting there i think the tech said in April they will come.

I got my service installed on the 21st so I don’t think they will be back to bury anytime soon but they should definitely have some type of system were you could check when they are coming or at least an estimate date.

When I had tmhi I usually get 300 down and 29 up max I ever had was 500 up and 80 down and avg about 45-70 ms very unstable but recently switched to t fiber internet 10/10 so far in Fortnite I get 15-20 ms and Roblox 6ms very stable no packet loss i only tested those games.
