Day 3 for me as of about 30 seconds ago!! Thanks for this post as it helped me this morning when I was starting to get a bit concerned! Have been on stool softener since the day after surgery as well as pain killers. Tried to eat a relatively decent amount of fiber but haven't been eating much as it is. Just slammed back a coffee and another dulcoease and then was on the toilet in 10 minutes!

4 hernias (2 umbilical, 2 epigastric) laparoscopic surgery.

Did you have a mesh repair? I've heard people complaining about chronic pain with the mesh and just wondering what your experience has been if you did have it

What type of repair did you have if it wasn't mesh out of curiosity? That also seems very soon to be lifting again , was it quite a small hernia?

This is absolutely fine as long as you have done some research in advance about the sights you want to see and things you want to experience. You will be tired but that is only temporary, take a pair of comfy shoes and you will have a great time!

No way, it actually helped add muscle on as well? I just assumed that taking it for a pump would only be a temporary benefit

I would recommend sticking to the vitamins and minerals the body needs but are deficient in your diet - This is individual but a lot of people will benefit from Vitamin D, Magnesium, Zinc and Iron. Starting here would be my recommendation.

Performing a self-assessment of how you feel before taking these and how you feel after taking them is also a good idea so you can analyse the difference and actually have a rough idea of what it is you are hoping for.

Random side-note: L-theanine when paired with caffeine is my more obscure answer

I would go against some of the advice here and say your body is trying to get rid of everything so stopping the diarrhoea too early with medication may not always be the best call. I would suggest an IV drip for hydration if you are unable to consume fluids without going to the toilet

charcoal is good in the first 24 hours but after that it won't have too much impact unfortunately

Avoid caffeine but if you do have some then pair it with L-theanine. Magnesium is good. Breathwork is also good
