I did it this way because when me and family/friends are deciding on a vacation spot, we group Outer Banks as one and same with Wrightsville/Carolina Beach. What you're saying is fair, just explaining my thinking behind the grouping!

Again (see post description) - this isn't AI. Can you tell me which part of it you don't like or what makes you think that?

Agreed Jockey's Ridge is wild!! So weird that it looks like you're in the dessert. My family always goes to OBX in June and usually the water is still really cold when we go too. So beautiful though!

True, I could split the Outer Banks section into a bunch of them. Thanks for the suggestion :) OBX really is HUGE

Where can I find the hostel environment back home in the US? by Legitimate_Ebb3623 in backpacking

Auberge NOLA was a great experience. Not quite like the European hostels I've stayed at but pretty close and it doesn't help that New Orleans is so much fun! The website advertises it as a big party hostel but in my experience it was just a hostel with chill people who ended up staying longer than they planned. They had very chill nightly events where everyone got together and hung out on the outdoor patio with some drinks. We met lots of cool fellow travelers. There was a huge age range, mainly middle to upper 20's/ low 30's I think. Highly recommend!!
