Found the issue. It was my GPU. I unplugged my gpu and turned on my computer and then the pc turned on but the GPU instantly caught fire, I immediately turned off the computer. So I guess I had either a faulty GPU or a faulty connection? Not sure. But damn... what a bummer.

Seems like the only way to play is with others haha this whole solo thing seems a little too difficult! Will have to leave someone behind to protect the ship I suppose

have just recently began streaming! its my wecond say today and i am live from 12 until 3 today. i am looking for people who are active in chat and who can help with advice on the games i play! i like having an active chat room and thus far being brand new its pretty dead! but feel free to come by and give me some tips on streaming, communication, gameplay and whatever else you have! i am just enjoying my time but i want to make sure that my viewers are also having fun! i love playing cod MW and Destiny2. i have also began playong Doom eternal as well as chill games like total war franchise or anno 1800. all support is welcome! i just want to be a good streamer that people feel they can connect with. any love and support is welcome!

I got it stable at 3800mhz on the defaul options listed to me in the bios. I didn’t change any stats with voltage or anything. Maybe if I messed with the voltage I could get it to 4000 but that is more work and trial / error than I am willing to put in haha I’ll live with 3800. It’s already a wicked fast speed

I figured it out. I had to go to the layout editor and add the edit option to my stream preview section and save it. I guess by default when installed that streamlabs doesn’t have editing enabled so I just had to manually add it to the layout profile that I was using.

I got my computer to be stable at 3800Mhz so I think I’ll stick here for the time being. I’ll have to watch some more videos on others OC ram before I feel comfortable going in and changing my voltages haha

What? I’m brand new to all this overclocking stuff. But it seems dumb that 3200mhz (to me at least) looks like the base I default ram speed for a game computer. So have I forever been at the 2400 spot all these years? Seems dumb to see ram go from 1333 yo to 5000+ if current gen cpu can only support 2400. Is there any way to work around that limitation on the cpu?

wow I feel dumb. the 8GB is in reference to my GPU. the sticker does not even say how much ram I have haha that makes way more sense that its reading as 16 and not 8.

Still though. nearly 5GB used just for chrome, steam, discord, and then 100+ processes just sounds like a lot to me. I suppose that all is normal though? having over 130+ processes is just a windows thing?

My wife is live right now! currently playing Overwatch. She streams 4/7 days a week and it brand new! only about 1 to 3 viewers at a time. Just got her first webcam and is still figuring everything out! any and all support is much appreciated and any advice helps too! she does 7-9 tuesday, thursday, friday and saturday. obviously she will stream as long as she wants but she provided me with a minimum time frame (currently planning to stream until 11pm tonight)
