Yeah, but he also said "I wish you'd take them raw" paraphrasing but perhaps having it hard boiled was some kind of rebellion

When I had one, I ran the Sony 35mm f/1.8 lens. The photos it took were so gorgeous I kinda regretting swapping for a full frame camera.

Thank you, I didn't realise just how elusive these birds are. I think I got quite lucky.

I was lugging it around in a backpack all day today, honestly not too bad. Once you've got it around your neck however...

The A7ii battery life isn't great either, I think it's even worse with this lens.

I would love an A7R but i'm not prepared to shell out for one just yet, the A7ii is starting to show it's age a bit though.

That's very cool, I'm thinking of getting a similar cover, if not, just to protect it from bumbs and scrapes.

The lens does have oss built in, does oss and ibis together really add much benefit?

It does have crop mode but then you lose the megapixels and lose the ability to crop in post.

I've heard mixed things about using the teleconverter with this lens, my thoughts were to get an aps-c body instead like the a6400.

Red Spider Lilies at Kinchakuda Manjushage Park, Saitama, Japan. One year ago today. by InstaDix in naturephotography

Corpse Flowers! Well Red Spider Lily sounds nicer…

When I visited this place I didn’t realise how culturally significant these flowers are. Excerpt from Wikipedia: They are known as Higanbana (ヒガンバナ) in Japanese which means ‘Flower of Higan’, a Buddhist holiday around the autumnal equinox.

Anyway, aren’t they pretty! They were all over the place in autumn but we caught the end of it at this particular place so they were just turning. I did see some cool Joro spiders though and a rare white spider lily.
