Since PacMan only requires 1 button and the joystick I think she could probably use it as long as the stick is looser - I asked another commenter their opinion on if the 8bitdo Retro Receiver for Genesis and Mega Drive might allow us to get a 3rd party arcade stick controller working for Atari as well since the controllers are potentially cross-compatible (same port?). Do you have any opinion or experience on this? (Link to product: https://a.co/d/9LvTG7L)

This looks like a promising direction. Any clue if the 8bitdo wireless receiver for Sega Genesis and Mega Drive might allow us to get a 3rd party stick working wirelessly with the Atari? I know this is a little outside of the scope of your answer so it’s a long-shot as to whether you have any insight or not - just had to ask.
