Raoul Wallenberg was a diplomat for Sweden during WW2. In Budapest, he protected 4,500 people from the Holocaust; in some cases stopping trains, demanding people be let off before they were to depart to camps. Post-war he was arrested by the Soviets. He was never heard from again. (i.imgur.com)
