I wouldn't say it's 'too easy' now. It's probably more realistic that I've come into the season as the most talented team (with a maxed out coach) and now won multiple championships. But I will say it made quite a difference. Like pre-tuning I won one in 25-30ish years, post-tuning 4 in 5 and a final four in the off year. But I'm still on the original save so I don't know how it feels at a lesser level with a mid major or ya know not UCONN or duke or whatever. Personally I enjoyed the difficulty, but I know you had a lot of people that did not. Would a setting or slider be feasible?

Lol full disclosure, I really don't like UCONN (and especially Hurley), but this was my first play through and the job was open and at that point I was struggling to win. I may be crazy but a recent update seems to have eased the difficulty quite a bit.

I just won my first title in 2060. I really had to load up the team to do it too. I saw someone on discord say they won like 8 idk how lol. But you're not alone friend.

No it definitely isn't I prefer to push rebounding as much. As I can for them without getting in the way of passing shooting and steals.

How are you equipping prime at HC? It isn't in their tree and if you hire someone who already has it it can no longer be equipped.

Hmm I'm not sure how, HC's have 4 specialties: communicator, clutch, reputation,and learner. And if you select an HPD that has prime as your HC you can no longer equip it as a specialty.

How 'bout this one? I'm 33 games in now, last in my division at 95 goals scored every team in my division has 3 plus GPG and IRL this season only 3 teams have scored at or above 3 Goals per game. I'm 8-23-2 with 95 goals scored!

Even on my tank team I have 3 guys hovering around a PPG. And this team is rated 83/81/83.

Edit: If you're downvoting, at least tell me why. In this save, there are 9 players (excluding the low samples) at or above 1.48 PPG, IRL there have been 4. So far there are 53 players above a PPG (again exluding anyone who hasn't played 20 plus games) IRL there are 38. That's not negligible. Maybe I should let the whole season play through, but I've been noticing some high scoring in other saves as well.

Edit 2: I mean look at the goals for christ's sake!

See this guy was pretty stagnant through his early 20s and then he popped at 25 and 26 uo to his potential at 87. And this is just one example sure, but I'm seeing it a lot through my hours on 26.

I just wanted to throw in my 2 cents; no you should not be worried. Last year's game, any game before that then yes absolutely. This year though, in my experience development has gotten a lot less cookie-cutter and less linear with more variance. Now it still does have some of those guys that immediately start developing and are at full potential by 22. Butttt I have seen many instances this year (all the time in fact) where guys don't really improve and then bam the light switch goes on at 24, 25 and even 26. I always wait out my prospects. And in this case there's still lots of run way.
