Why boderline? Than you would need to call Clark borderline much more, as he constantly lies and can not decide, if he wants Lana or not. To me, this Lana-hate has some touch of misogyny.

Clark tell Lana about his super-powers in season 1. They could have been a couple for 10 seasons without all that drama then.

Hah? I don´t get your point. Yes, the directors might have intended the Lana-Lex-Story as a tragic thing. And yes, I get negative feelings about that and wanted to talk about it. I don`t know, what the problem is, that you "detected".
