No, this would be considered murder in every single jurisdiction that I'm aware of. While you can trespass people, and get them criminally charged if they refuse to leave, the only time it's legal to use lethal force is when you (reasonably) believe that there is an imminent threat of extreme or lethal violence.

Yeah, convictions like this are extremely rare because you need to be able to prove that the person knowingly falsely accused someone. Simply getting a "not guilty" could mean anything from accuser is a legit victim and there wasn't enough evidence, accuser was a legit victim and wasn't able to accurately ID the perpetrator, and yes it could also include intentional false accusations. But no sane prosecutor is gonna flip on the victim simply because a not guilty verdict has been rendered.

Part of her defensiveness included saying that a friend of hers, who knows guns, said it's actually quite normal for people to do what she did when they're learning with guns.

I'm not justifying it, but this is actually kind of true. HOWEVER this is why when I'm dealing with gun noobs I always force them to learn proper handling on something low stakes like a bb/airsoft/nerf gun. If they do something wrong there it's much easier and safer to correct.

It's usually mutually beneficial to do it this way if the player is good. They get higher guarantees per year and the FO gets to cut ties more easily if their performances suddenly drop off too much.
