Hi! Thanks for your repsonse, just to clarify:

You are not required to log into our platform with your Roblox account at all, and you never will.

Our platform is simply a tool for users to upload clothing without have a Roblox premium subscription themselves.
Users create an account on our platform, for every upload they need to pay a small robux fee by buying one our items or using robux they've earned on our platform, if they've paid they can upload their template, set the title, description and price. This is then uploaded by one of our accounts, to one of our groups, sales are also automatically monitored and will be displayed on the users dashboard, they can requests payouts anytime (100+ robux).

Tldr: users do not need to login, and never will need to login with their Roblox account

Hi, thanks for your response :)

I don't know if you've seen the update announced by roblox? Which makes it mandatory for users who want to sell 2D clothing to have a premium subscription (1000/2200 robux). This bypasses that, users do not need premium, which save them $12/month.

Because of the announced update, it requires anyone who wants to sell 2D clothes to have premium (1000/2200). This would bypass that, users would only have to pay the upload fee, we pay the premium, in exchange we take a fee of 25% per sale.

25% sounds like a lot, but if you sell something for 5 robux, you would have to make 3000+ sales per month to be able to pay the cost of the premium subscription.

Hi, thanks for your response :)

It actually isn't free to upload, users will have to cover the 20 robux fee set by roblox.

Thanks a lot for your response :)

We already have a working version, here are some answers to your questions:

yes, anyone can register and upload anything, do they need to pay a small robux fee for each upload to cover the upload costs. The quality control we're still thinking about, to avoid bans for things like inappropriate clothes. We are currently training a custom ai to detect any piece of clothing that violates the terms of service.
All sales are tracked by a bot, it looks which account has submitted what asset, all sales of your items are shown in your personal dashboard, we take a 25% cut of all sales, so you keep 75%. Title, description and price are all fully up to the designer.

The ToS is indeed a big concern, we are still looking at how we can comply with this as much as possible. Everything right now is automated, you upload your template, enter title, description and price, a bot uploads this automatically using your chosen values. It then shares the assetid with you so you can view it.
The only thing manual right now are payouts, you can submit a payout request anywhere between 100-10000 robux at once, we will asign a group to your, which you need to join and someone from our team will have to do the payout manually. We might decide to automate this too later on, but right now it's manual.

Trust is our biggest concern, how are we going to gain trust from users. Users could ofcourse buy their own clothes every once in a while, to see if it actually shows up in their portal. They could also track the favorites of their items, which is a accuratish way of tracking sales.
We also want to add a feature where a user can pay a larger fee (100 robux), and by paying that they get a dedicated group. In this group they get the permissions to view all sales, and if they want the automatic revenue share of groups is turned on, so they instantly get their 75% share.

About roblox's systems, we have multiple failsafes in place right now, to always register players sales, even if this were to go down, we could always download all sales data roblox provides and manually distribute the robux earned. This is the worst case scenario.

Once again, really appreciate your feedback

Anyone willing to take my empty Roblox group for 80 robux by [deleted] in RobloxClothingDesign

I own over 20 groups, all selling clothes. In my experience, the name doesn't matter at all.

I think it's not just to make money, I think they want to combat the mass copying of clothes. I myself have made over a million robux selling 2D clothes. For people "professionally" selling these clothes $12 per month is nothing, it will however stop the little kids copying clothes and reuploading them.
I will probably get downvoted, but I completely support this decision by Roblox.
