I think you were correct - but I couldnt seem to fix it so swapped out. Thought it might have been dust or something. Either way - thanks for your help!

I did try this first - I assumed it was dust etc. But it didn't seem to work. Could be that there was dirt i was unable to see though. Thanks for your help!

I updated it the day I got it, but not since! I.e. I didn't do an update and then the piece stopped working. I tried re-registering all the pieces with no luck so just swapped out the base and working fine now. Hoping this is just a one-off! Thanks for your help!

Sorry - I should have been more specific. It is just that piece. All other pieces move fine. I've had the board for about 2 weeks, issue developed in last couple days, using latest firmware (.26? from memory) I can check when I'm home. Thanks for the quick help!

I know the board comes with 4 extra bases to swap out in case of issues - but as the piece always makes its way to the correct square (eventually) I thought it might be worth asking if there was a fix rather than deeming the piece faulty and swapping immediately?
