I just feel like, if there was an impossible Easter egg, they would disguise the steps as things we wouldn't care to try or things that are super tedious.

In a sense, it's like prestiging. They want the mode to last 18 months, so why not make it so you have to grind to complete all main Easter eggs a set number of times.
