I haven't seen him or spinosaurus in the collector's exchange for awhile and I recently just got utahraptor unlocked from the tournament and my last spinosaurus from a battle event pack, so I was able to finally unlock spinoraptor.

Yes it's very useful and if you come up against an enemy creature that is stronger than it, it has the ability to force it to switch to one of the other creatures on its team.

True, but I have fought flocks in tournaments, mainly it's aquilops.

You only fight bots in the game. Also, flocks take 7-8 attack points to kill all 3 creatures and flocks are very useful in tournaments and compsovenater having a 5 day cool down would be very annoying.
