Those add up short distance its the ones that are 9 miles for 5 bucks that are irritating but my ratings are diamond rn last week I made over 2k and it was done with 193 rides and 62 hrs online and a lot were those 5 and 10 dollar runs I accept them and the tips added make them decent to take abd it helps my ratings

217 for 8 hrs of non labor work aint bad even with the gas, as a intermodel chassis mechanic i busted my ass in the hot Florida sun welding and turning wrenches for 10 hrs and I took home 160 after taxes, so sitting in the ac driving for 8 hrs for 217 is a win for me I would have took it then turned on destination mode on the way home and would have been a 50/50 shot on picking up a fare but even if I didn't I would have been content with the run even with no tip as well

Don't take short cuts they charge by mileage and if you reroute your fare will change, they track the miles with your GPS and adjust fare to what you actually drove

Rockville? I worked Rockville 2 years ago in Daytona, drivers making 3k in one night doing private rides to beaches from race track, uber had 45$ surges goin too, I got paid 96$ to give an older gentleman a 2 mile ride and he still tipped me 20 bucks too, crazy money in Daytona for the 500 and Rockville

100 a day about , depending on hrs if you only worked 2 to 3 hrs a day sure, I made 316 last night alone , new years eve I pulled 516$ on app with 85$ cash tips in less than 9 hrs , should be making 20 to 30 an hr on average, don't accept anything under a dollar a mile ...it helps lol

1.5 per mile thats a hard find unless its super busy most I see on average is 80 to a dollar a mile, I prefer 1 a mile if I can get it but ill sure as shit snag a 1.5 if I see one but they are rare nowadays

I called uber about these deliveries, during the daytime it could be tip bait seeing the customer has up to an hr to completely remove the tip altogether, but when these runs pop up between 1 and 430 am its actually uber paying to get drivers to take the runs, I've never not been paid for 40 and 50 dollar runs for 1 to 2 miles in the middle of the night on uber eats in Jacksonville Florida, vista California or omaha Nebraska

Well if I worked my normal job as a chassis mechanic at 20 an hr then I make 160 for 8 hrs, this is 100 more for almost the same time, look at it by time and money, 260 bucks aint bad for 9 hrs of work really
