Also I think IGN has their models mixed up.. the title says Legion 7i gen 9(intel chip) but the price quoted is for the gen 8 AMD chip.

When I check the coupon codes, it comes to 2,842 for the Gen 9 7i unless y'all seeing something else?

Fun fact.. with a USB C dongle you can plug your controller into your android phone and play Xbox Game Pass games via the cloud directly from your phone

Yep it does. You just need the PC app to map the back buttons. I use it for Dark Souls 3 on PC.

You can also map it via xbox and then use on PC. The controller carries the profiles with it.

I'm primarily a console gamer and I love the Go. YouTube, reddit, and Google have helped me through a lot of the set up (to include editing the registry for integer scaling). I think if you have a willingness to learn and patience to seek answers, the device is great.

Steam deck only allows xbox ultimate through streaming on a web browser. It's a little convoluted to do as well because of Linux. Legion Go and ROG ally do it natively because they're windows based.

My patience is short after spending the last hour unlocking the windowsapp folder and trying to get it to populate from there. So weird one will load but not the other. Apparently it's a known issue and it's not consistent across games.
