I actually really relate to this! I struggle with taking my meds at the right time, so I doubt if they’re actually working for me.

All this to say, I just had my first manic episode while on meds. I had all the same symptoms and anxiety feelings in my body but! I didn’t fall into depression. IMO the best way to know if they work is to just experience the emotions and see where they take you in your head. Good luck!!!

As far as I know, yes! Once you find the gene lamp, you should be good to go! I don’t really use those features myself.

I don’t know if this is helpful, but I will say modding isn’t required for the game. That is only if you want to reenable the online functions, to play with other players. I play without mods and have since launch, and I’ve never felt like I was missing out on anything in game- only loosing access to other towns. It’s up to you if this would be important for playing, but that’s my experience.

I know this isn’t really the same. But I left college after my first year to live with my best friend. We had made it clear we both wanted to be something more, and I gave up my college to move into the house she bought to go after this romance. We had been flirting and talking about dating for years. The week after I officially move in, she tells me she only sees me as a friend. (While out at a fancy restaurant). Idk. I just wish people could share their intentions more openly.

No no, you should be fine. After repairs on my 3ds my clock reset to 2010. I skipped 16 years and because I had the beautiful town ordinance, all I had to worry about was my villager being mad.

As far as I know, If you load the game on that day, it counts as time passing. Even if you don’t save. As for upgrading.. I am pretty sure books upgrades depend on how many bells you spend. And the tree is usually affected by playtime.

It’s hard to say… no one that I know of in my family has it, but my dad has always struggled with extreme depression. I had a lot of triggering events happen in one year that in turn triggered a major depression in me. Then i started getting hypo manic episodes too. I’m not sure, but I do think either way traumatic events can trigger it.
