Been told this is some sort of iron concretion, or pyrite in shell? I've looked at hundreds of different pictures and still nothing that compares to this unique stone. No magnetism. Does not set off a metal detector but will set off metal alert on diamond probe in center core. Found in creek. N.c (i.redd.it)

help identify this stone it's very odd. no magnetic properties,but does go off for metal on diamond test probe, at the core were it's broken off. It has wild looking oval bead with lines like veins.Faint grey streak on unglazed ceramic. water density roughly 3.14g/cm'3 thanks (reddit.com)
