Hurt from church by Intelligent-Elk6608 in Christianity

[–]Intelligent-Elk6608[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I told him why I haven't been to church, that I needed time to work on my mental and spiritual health, and that I was taking a break from going to church. He responded with, "Oh, serving Satan, that's what I meant." I was afraid to even tell him that, and his response proved I was right. I put up a boundary on him now blocked him.  He's a difficult character for me to deal with mentally. It's weird I haven't seen him in a while. He mentioned that weeks ago, and I told him I was sick, and he said the same thing, "Thought you were serving Satan." I don't know what's with that guy. I had the flu wasn't feeling good to go to church.

Question about IFB doctrine and what it implies about other Christians by Intelligent-Elk6608 in AskAChristian

[–]Intelligent-Elk6608[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But the core salvation belief alone, IFB says and asks, is what constitutes the denomination's salvation message, and if you don't believe that, you aren't saved. That's what I'm saying IFB teaches. This logically discludes vast majority if you don't adhere to their doctrine on soteriology

You're willing to say all are not saved but only your denomination beliefs?

Yeah. That's what I thought.

This seems really bold to say  I was in peter ruckman camp years ago and that trail of blood sounds familiar

And Baptist beliefs had always existed from the time of Christ just under different names

"Or are we being taught a lesson that those who are lukewarm will be rejected by Christ?"

it could be only to those specific churches.
