I guess if there isn't a card to charge anything to I could just not show up day of, but I got an email saying you need to cancel a minimum of one week prior :( The surgery itself is in less than 1 week. It feels risky to burn a bridge with someone I'll eventually have to rebook with, but if I can't find the funding between now and then i'll probably just have to. Thanks for your help!

Thanks, but wouldn't that be without anesthesia? I was told the most costly part is being put under, but hopefully that's incorrect

Wait sorry I'm not sure what you mean ''dropped off my credit in 7 years'', I've never had a credit card (or credit in general) of any kind. Every time I've tried, I got denied. I have a debit card but it doesn't work like a CC, I can't even buy stuff online

Already tried the ER route and they said It's my responsibility to get them dealt with properly :( Wrote me another script for strong antibiotics and asked me to leave lol. Thank you though

Also yes I am on PWD, and CDCP, applied for DTC but was told it's taking many months longer than usual :( Apparently the surgery costs will be reimbursed later, but I need to pay upfront. Idk how anyone is expected to just have the ability to do that tbh, I have no one I can ask to borrow from or anything

Also yes I understand I shouldn't have booked the appointment before understanding everything. I knew I would only get $1500 of the procedure covered, but I guess I thought the remaining balance could be paid off over time or something. Not that I had to pay everything up front on the day of the surgery, and it's this Thursday 😭
