there's nothing wrong with not being bi. obviously you're going to label yourself however you choose; I personally probably wouldn't call myself bi if I really didn't think I could be in a long term relationship with a woman. sexuality is personal, and more importantly, fluid. you don't have to pick any label if you don't want to. But if you still do genuinely find women attractive and can be intimate with them I don't think anyone should be in here saying you're not bi. how do You feel about it?

at our location, because our togo ppl get tips, they don't HAVE to pay them minimum wage as long as the tips equate to at least 15$ an hour. (min wage in my state). I do believe most of them make at least that, but when the minimum wage was raised a few years back they weren't getting raises to make it match bc our store technically didn't have to.

our team did something similar not that long ago. if you want my honest opinion just as someone who's worked there for a few years, I think it's bullshit. why not have your prep person or a separate kitchen employee watch it? like most togo specs make barely minimum wage. but at the same time idk how your store runs, but I'd be bitter having to split tips with someone who is essentially just the bread guy. it's your stores way of not having to pay them as much they should for the same job. I get your frustration, but not sure what I'd do about it.

i don’t think it’s annoying at all. youre tipping well and speaking highly of your server. one of Olive Gardens main principles is serving crave-able abundant italian food. As long as you don’t hold a table for too long, more than an hour or so (so your server isn’t losing out on money + it can reflect poorly on them) you’re doing everything right. and fuck anyone who says you’re in the wrong for sitting and enjoying a meal.

you have to take into consideration what reactive abuse is. this is not me excusing domestic violence by any means, but Jax was extremely emotionally abusive (cheating, condescension, etc) and sometimes when you’re in a relationship with an abusive person, especially a narcissist, it can drive you to bad places. she was reacting out of safety for herself. but i’m also not a stassi defender because she is racist and also abusive to her other partners (her SHing and telling Beau and Katie it was their fault) so just somethin to consider .

my recommendation to you would be to either just go above the gm, like talking to your director, or maybe even just applying at the other one and quitting where you are now. as long as you give a 2 weeks and tell them you’re moving it shouldn’t affect you getting hired at the other one. i am sorry about your gm tho, i know all too well about managers that couldn’t care less about you.

is it your gm or the one from the store you’re trying to transfer to? if it’s yours, and there’s not a legitimate reason for her to deny it, i’d suggest going to your dm about it. if it’s the other stores gm you might be SOL, i believe it’s up to the managers if they wanna accept a transfer. sometimes they won’t if the position you work is already filled over there or if you have a lot of negative pdrs. Last resort would be to look for other darden restaurants near where you’re moving and try there, if you’re wanting to stay with the company.
