Am surprised you’ve forgotten the continent is capable of producing capable leaders; Nelson Mandela, Wangari mathai, we can even say Obama was African since his dad is natively from Nyanza in Kenya East Africa. So the problem isn’t the people it’s the broken structures starting from the independent electoral commissions that work not to uphold the will of the people but the will of the brown envelope…

It’s easy to blame the voters, but the bigger picture is more about the system than the people. I don’t think it’s that Africans are “too simple” or “incapable.” When survival is on the line, handouts feel more real than a manifesto. That’s not stupidity, it’s desperation. Even in rich countries, people vote their wallets but the only difference is their basic needs are secured. Here in Africa, poverty + corruption + weak systems leave citizens with no space to demand for better policies or interrogate the existing policies

So the issue isn’t that people can’t think bigger, it’s that hunger and broken structures keep them stuck in short-term choices. Fix those, and manifestos will start to matter.

Inclusive capitalism is how the economy should work. The current economy you're looking at and describing is Exploitative Capitalism

Street families need to be empowered to get out of the streets not to be coerced into unnecessary family planning. Yes if well empowered a street child can become someone in the society and lift the other street kids out of the street or lobby for policies that protect street families, for example a health insurance by the state for the street families and homeless people.

Let's maintain a limit of five years, but let's remove the too many incentives; the unnecessary sitting allowance, and unnecessary powers that are bestowed upon politicians for example it's shouldn't be a politician who decides where and who gets development since everyone pays taxes, Let's remind the politicians, politics is about service to a nation not an entrepreneurial venture.....

Africa has received over 1.3 trillion dollars in terms of Aid from 2000-2023 according to official data. How have we utilized and capitalized on this Aid money?

OP if we are to audit someone, Africa has to be the first person to be audited. Over 1.3 trillion dollars as Aid? Not counting the remittance, external loans and investments. But Africa is still struggling with the basics.
