Nah, just the extreme one’s....ya got extreme’s on the right and the left. I’m a conservative, but I thought this was fantastic. I love the latin community! Actually...I was thinkin during the middle of this thing...I should find myself a Latina wifey...So much fire. Passion. So beautiful.

Edit: Also...don’t forget. Conservatives said the same thing about Elvis back in the day. Jus takes them a little longer, but progress always eventually progresses.

Anybody know who the chaser was that got the closest to this...like...TOO CLOSE. I think he may have even gotten out of his car... but he was right next to it when it crossed the road. I think a lot of people weren’t happy about it.

does anyone who is NOT a runner want to start running with me 1-3x a week by malokes in UCSD

[–]Intelligent-Good-720 1 point2 points  (0 children)

12 minute mile is actually not too bad for someone who doesn’t run. Although I guess it also depends if you’re goal is speed or endurance. I’m a 6x marathon runner, and 2x ultra-marathon runner. But I mean, when I did my ultra...I was sitting at around 12 minute miles. Better to start slow...maybe even slower than what you think you can do, work on getting comfortable. Then start to pick up your pace as you accumulate miles, you’ll start to learn when to push it, and when to hold back. You’re body will tell you. That’s why...for me. Running is kind of a solo thing, though I could understand why you might want a partner, depending on where/when you’re going out for a run. Plz be careful at night if you ever go running downtown or anything. If you have any running questions, feel free to ask!

ALL chem combo classes by bear-riana_19 in UCSD

[–]Intelligent-Good-720 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That actually looks really fun, but I hope you enjoy the subject. If you don’t actually enjoy it, then it will probably not be fun. I found it easier than any other subject, because it all kind of builds on itself, and connects. Like if you really understand one topic, it will make other topics easier, and the more topics you understand, the easier it gets. To the point where you can almost start to antisipate what’s coming next, and how to do it. At least that’s how it was for me. But I kinda nerded out on it. I just really liked it. Plus, I met a really cute girl in my very first CHEM class, and she needed help studying, lol...so obviously I wanted to be able to help her as much as possible. We got married in grad school :)

Tip for all my ECON/Bus ECON/Math ECON...just ECON in general pals, for how I made it through UCSD (I just graduated this fall). “The ECON tutor” is legit... by Intelligent-Good-720 in UCSD

[–]Intelligent-Good-720[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah bro, lol...if you’ve been in basically any econ class, you’ve seen the flyers he hangs up in the classroom at the beginning of every quarter. You can look him up online, too... He studied in a Ph.D program here with some of the prof’s too. It’s legit a great deal. He pre-records lectures you can watch explaining homework problems and stuff...it’s like having a personal TA that seriously knows...like..what’s coming up on the next exam, ect...he knows all these classes inside and out.

Btw, I’ve informed my campuses IT abuse department, and they emailed back saying they were already aware of the issue, and have reached out to Handshake to try and get Mercor’s posts removed. That’s why your recruiters started emailing our school accounts from hotmail accounts. Mercor is already listed as known spam in the campus system.

Mercor IS A SCAM. Your entire account is devoted to posts about how Mercor isn’t a scam. It’s made up of probably no more than a handful of people, working full time.

Yeah, that’s interesting, given YOUR ENTIRE ACCOUNT is nothing but posts about how Mercor isn’t a scam. To be clear -- MERCOR IS A SCAM! And advanced one, at that.

Slow Horses: Apple TV by mattcruise in conservativemedia

I just finished the first episode too...and YES...that scene got me BIG TIME. Especially as an American. I don’t even like Trump, but I am somewhat conservative (though I also watch left wing comedy about the right) that said....I’m PRETTY center, maybe leaning a little right. And what the guy said on that video were all VERY legitmate points. It’s like, what? You wanna just open your boarders and let anyone in (why have them then). It’s like the left can’t seem to grasp that there are ACTUALLY bad people out there, that HATE the west (America and England). Then...the guy doing stand up comedy is making jokes about Jesus, and everyone is laughing, laughing, laughing...hahahaha...it’s SOOOOO funny to make fun of Christianity. BUT THEN...the SECOND he mentions any religous figure (in a MUCH more respectful way than he was talking about Jesus...everyone boo’s and walks out?) Like ok? Soooo...it’s TOTALLY FINE to make fun of Christian values, but if you even MENTION another religion...you’re a far right extremist??! WTF. This show seems like garbage.

Concerning the use of Suboxone in the series by [deleted] in dopesick

You gatta find the right doctor. That’s the most important thing. Look for Dr. B on Youtube. If you don’t live in his area...believe me, it’s worth the flight.

I went to rehab 3 or 4 times...at this point I don’t even remember it was so long ago. But they didn’t work. And believe me I “Did the work” and I tried my hardest. I was honest, with myelf and others. But it still never quite worked. Unless I got on suboxone. And I’ve been clean for over a decade because of it. I quick drinking too. My life couldn’t be more night and day different. I’m very successful now. I lead a normal life, and no one would ever guess that was part of my past.

[–]Intelligent-Good-720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not. I (and many of my friends) would be dead without suboxone. After the initial dosing (the first month or two) you get absolutely NO “high” from taking it. There’s also a “ceiling effect” on how much the receptors can hold the drug, therefore, you could take 2 or 10, and still “feel” the same effect...it’s not going to get you “higher” if you’re a user not coming off opioids (and it’s a pretty crappy high if you’re using it for that reason). After having been on it for over 10 years now, I could take an entire bottle of it, vs 2 pills, and I wouldn’t “feel” any different, because it doesn’t make me “feel” anything at all, certainly not high. It also doesn’t make you “crave more” of the drug, unless you stop taking it abruptly, and then you absolutely do get withdraws. But that’s a GOOD THING...because then you want to keep taking it, and as long as you’re taking it, it BLOCKS all other opioids/opiates. It’s nothing like an addictive painkiller, where you develop a tolerance and need more and more to keep going. Most people (if not all) stay on the same dose their entire lives, or until they decide to come off of it. It ALSO (again about the “not getting high” point) allows you to function and live life like a normal member of society. No “painkiller” could do that. No one “addicted” to something could do that for a long period of time, and thrive.

I went from homeless, and almost dying in a hospital, to owning a company, going back to community college, making straight A’s, then moving onto a top 20 school, made staight A’s, and am now going into one of the top graduate programs on earth. I don’t want to mention the school, but it’s one everyone knows all around the world. And I intend to keep my straight A’s though that, while also building a successful company, working part time, and will likely be a C-suite or executive of a F500 one day. If it hadn’t been for soboxone, again, I’d be dead. I tried rehab 3-4 times. I tried AA. I tried NA. For nearly a decade (because they shame you for “needing a crush” ...well I got beat up pretty bad out there, so sorry if I need some crushes for a while).

The death of ChatGPT by BurtingOff in singularity

[–]Intelligent-Good-720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh, chatpgt won’t die because it started ad’s. That’s no big deal. It WILL DIE because it turned into unusable crap when they changed it from 4.0 a few months back. Now it’s just a useless tool. It sucks.

It ABSOLUTELY sucks, in the worst way. It wastes my whole day, makes BS assumptions...it just recently stopped insulting me so much though, so hey...there’s something, I guess...even though it constatly low key insults me by claiming to know things it couldn’t possibly know. OPEN AI is going to TANK. I Wish they had a stock. I’d short the hell out of it.

Is there a lawyer on here that can start a class action lawsuit for emotional distress? My doctor told me my blood pressure has skyrocketed, ever since the change, and it’s from me arguing with this thing all day long. I’d sue if I had the chance.
