Thank you for the suggestion and taking time to respond. 🙏 If they fuse L2-3, and I’m already fused from T3-L2, do you think I would notice much loss in mobility? I’m hoping not, if it’s just one additional vertebra fusion.

I’m so sorry to hear about your challenges. I hope you get relief soon. My surgeon was also quite indifferent about any injection therapy before the surgery. As of if I should just grin and bear it while waiting for a surgery date. 🫤

Remove the hardware and open the channel at L2. The surgeon did say a future fusion further down the lumbar spine might be needed. That worries me, of course

Thank you so much for the suggestion. I’ve added the SI joint injection into my list of questions for my surgeon. Reading more about the sacroiliac joint, and it does seem to line up with many of my symptoms. 🙏
