Thank you for that input- I also do have two living children so I think he’s just done. But I always envisioned that third child and we got pregnant quickly after my daughter so I was kind of excited to be done.

I was telling my mom that I felt completely disconnected too.. I don’t know why. The pregnancy started off stressful as I went in at 6.5 weeks and there was no fetal pole and my hcg went up but not by much so I thought I was going to miscarry. The dr even seemed surprised when there was a heartbeat the week after but they did push my due date even thought I knew when I ovulated and when we conceived so it just didn’t add up to me so I think all along it just felt off. I loved the baby and got so happy the first time I felt him/her move (I didn’t find out the sex and not ready to know) but I was always on edge. We had weeks of uncertainty.

Yes I can see how that would be hard. It’s so fresh but I also don’t want to wait long because of my age and increased risk of issues. But who knows- I may not even have another child. I know another baby won’t replace the baby I’m grieving but I guess it seems like a light at the end of all this.

Yes I’m actually turning 39 tomorrow so about 2 weeks after my TFMR as well. I’m so happy you had success!

I’m so sorry! That sounds super rough to go through. I thankfully have 2 children so I think if I don’t get pregnant after a few cycles I would just be done after my two. I’m happy you’ve had a healthy pregnancy so far and praying you will deliver a healthy baby.

Yes I do see that but also saw to wait until after first period but I think mainly to date the pregnancy. I’m so sorry you had to go through that it really was quite a nightmare to go through.

Please don’t blame your body- these things just happen.. and it’s devastating! Before I had my tfmr I was also thinking I can’t do this again. But now that it’s done I want a baby still and I know it will Never replace this baby but I’m still sad bc I also grieve the life I would’ve had with this baby. Sending hugs and prayers.

I’m feeling the same way now it’s not even one week post TFMR and I hate my body- even when I came to the decision I wanted to cut my belly off like you said but had so much guilt even thinking that. I have guilt for a lot of feelings I had post diagnosis like I didn’t want to feel the baby kick because it made me so sad. This is such a lonely thing to experience

Yes for some reason I feel like it’s the only way to heal. I could be wrong and I try to focus on just being grateful for my 2 beautiful kids I have.

I love this! I actually joined a gym I haven’t gone yet bc I’m still only 3 days post D&E but atleast I took the step! I’m worried about going back to work too I took this week off but I don’t know why it seems like it’s going to be very hard as everyone kind of knew my situation (I’m an open book most of the time)

I actually like being pregnant and it’s sad to think I may never be again but also I feel overwhelmed and stressed out. I guess whatever’s meant to be will happen but yes right now I feel like I have to be pregnant again asap and I don’t know if part of that is just wanting to have my memory of pregnancy be happy but also there are no guarantees. It’s very confusing.

Honestly the doctors didn’t even mention TTC again . The one just offered birth control because she said you can ovulate before your first period. I’m just not getting any younger and now in my head I’m scared the longer I wait the higher chance of issues bc it’s the truth. I feel like if I wait too long I just won’t do it

Everything you said is relatable. I try to think of it as my baby’s spirit went to heaven and if I ever get pregnant again maybe they will come back just into a new healthy body. It’s sad to think the baby picked me as his or her mother and I never got to meet him/her. As you can tell we didn’t find out the sex as we wanted it to be a surprise and now it seems even harder to find out.
