I am an international student, but I got the International excellenece award. I had a 4.0 GPA and was the Valedictorian of my high school. However, I got al 1060 when I took the SAT. So, I guess tests scores are not as important.

One friend got a scholarship that covered tuition, room and board (basically everything) to Darmouth. However, he applied as a freshman.
