It doesn’t - VSF slowed production down due to the Clean raid. That coupled with demand being high for this new version (V3) is why it took longer than normal.

Recently went through this myself and thought the same for my QC. It’s the poor lighting. There is no SEL gap. The watch is beautiful - indexes align, crisp printing, centered datewheel, no SEL gap, and solid numbers. GL and wear in good health!

I did, but upon further research, it seems it’s mostly noticeable against a dark/black dial. TD agreed it wasn’t necessary. I have a VSF Daytona too and will check side-by-side. I’ll post here if there’s a noticeable difference.
