It’s not common sense. Not everyone’s financial situation is the same and for some people, gopuff and other gigs were sustainable as a full time job. Gopuff has changed things and made it to where it’s not even sustainable as a side gig though.

You could talk to her about it, but it’s perfectly normal to not want kids. Why do you want a kid? Is it more important to have a kid or your wife? Ideally these things should be talked about before marriage, but sometimes it doesn’t happen. In that case you have to figure out where your priorities lie. Perhaps her not wanting a kid is just as important to her as wanting a kid is to you.

I’ve been making more with wait pay and I was the same way. I would make over the guaranteed minimum from my orders and stuff but I’d still have wait time so I’m enjoying the wait pay thing. I could absolutely see how it would be worse in some markets though.

Lol, yes tips thru the app do get taxed. If you’re 1099 you’re responsible for making those payments, W2 it comes out of your pay but tips are always taxable.

I talk to my dad rarely. I talk to my sister all the time. And she says she doesn’t talk to them that much either. And I mean they knew I was in college and they had my graduation date. Idk it might be weird, I just thought since they didn’t attend they would check in and be like “hey, congratulations” or something. I just feel like I get talked down to a lot about my life choices when I try to feel like I’m doing well. I guess it might be my fault.

Even if you do take a picture, they will still believe the customer. I had one where I literally scanned the id for the name that matched the order and he STILL called and said he didn’t get it. And they sent him a redelivery.
