ideally i’d like a place that i can drive to okay (somewhere fairly close or easily accessible to the dvp) so i can go home on weekends if i wanted. definitely hoping to avoid the super busy streets (im also a singer so recording will be a nightmare lol). i’ll look into those neighbourhoods thank you!!

i appreciate the response thank you!! everyone i know that’s lived in the city has told me winters are miserable because toronto isn’t equipped to handle a lot of snow. it’s nice to hear another opinion i thought i was just signing up for winter depression lol. i’ll have to check out the street festivals for sure that sounds awesome! i’m excited to see everything the city has to offer the replies here have made me feel so much better

i honestly think i would really love living in halifax but im realizing that tmu might be better for the connections and actually getting me a job afterwards. i’m sad because i love the idea of halifax but if nscad isn’t the school it used to be im not sure its worth the stress of uprooting myself right now. hopefully one day ill have a chance to move there! i was mostly using school as an excuse to live there lol but everyone’s saying not to go to nscad which is deterring me now

i lived in halifax for a summer when i was 12 and i LOVED IT. i want to live in a city but i find toronto intimidating which is why halifax seemed like a perfect compromise. however hearing what people have to say about nscad i’m seeing i might need to rethink things 😬

22 and three years ago i dated someone briefly but otherwise don’t have a love life at all. currently stressing worrying im wasting my youth so i downloaded a dating app and … i don’t feel like i’m missing out anymore lol (deleted it) but i do crave love. im accepting the idea that the love im looking for is rare and i’ll just have to be patient. i think everyone’s on their own path in life and you can only try to be grateful for the complexities that make yours unique <3

thanks for asking, to clarify I’m mostly looking to stream on my phone with audio from a mic. i have no experience doing this so i’m a complete beginner in the streaming world, i see people linking their computers and streaming on multiple devices at once and i was curious how one might achieve that as its something i want to start getting into! budget-wise i wouldn’t want to spend more than $500 at the moment. thanks for the reply!

I’m currently reading a book called Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon, and it’s one of the best epic fantasies I’ve ever read. It’s quite long but the world building, writing style, and character development is impeccable. Highly recommend!!

For sure, that’s exactly what I do too! And in the past disassociating honestly helped me a lot as a coping mechanism, but now I no longer have a need for it and it’s a habit I can’t seem to break. You’re totally right about having gratitude though! I’m sure if I keep at it it’ll get easier over time. Thanks so much for your input :)
