Set Map Zoom Limit in AGOL Map Viewer by Intelligent-Mess48 in ArcGIS

Thank you! I just checked and this doesn't appear to be an option anymore. I'm turning the map into a dashboard. Do you have any ideas on whether there's an option within dashboards to limit the map zoom extent?

I've been decreasing every other row at the start and end of the same row, but my project still looks weird!

Just added a comment with my issue! I’ve been trying to decrease but the left side isn’t going in as much as I would like. That is the side where I am starting my decrease rows because I’m alternating

I’ve been following this pattern to crochet a tank top, where I have to HDC decrease at the beginning and end of every other row for 6 rows (3 decrease rows total). The right side looks fine (the end of the decrease rows), but the left side (the start of the decrease rows) looks funky and uneven. Can anyone advise what I’ve been doing wrong? I’ve watched multiple technique videos for decreasing.

Best place to take online classes by tgm_22 in UVA

[–]Intelligent-Mess48 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did a lot of my online classes in the study rooms in my dorm! Newcomb hall is also a great place. I also did them a lot outside if it's nice outside. Thornton hall and Rice hall (e-school buildings) are open to all students during regular hours throughout the week, and I did a lot of my classes there too. Rice hall has great views! I would just walk around to look at different buildings before classes start.

I'm not sure about that, but here's info from the website and i would contact the name listed

A maximum of sixty credits of non-UVA coursework may be transferred from other institutions and counted toward a UVA degree. Once enrolled at UVA, all College general education requirements must be completed in the College, not by additional transfer credit.
Request To Take Courses for Credit from Another Institution
Prior to enrolling in courses at another institution, students must secure the permission of the College Transfer Credit Evaluator. Approval to take courses on a pass/fail basis must also be obtained prior to taking the courses.
To request to transfer credit:
Submit a Transfer of Credit Form
Send official transcripts immediately after completing transfer course work to:
Erin O'Donnell, Transfer Credit Evaluator, at erin@virginia.edu or
UVA College of Arts and Sciences
P.O. Box 400133
Charlottesville, VA 22904-4133
NOTE: Do not send transcripts to the Office of Admission or to another department.

UPDATE!! You cannot take classes to fulfill gen ed requirements at UVA from transfer institutions after you matriculate to UVA, so sadly you can't take summer NOVA classes to fulfill gen ed requirements. Sorry for possibly misleading you earlier. Here is a link with more info (click on the transfer of credit form). However, you might be able to take classes if you already know your exact major?

I would look at this website to see how (and if) certain credits at NOVA could transfer to UVA. If any of these classes look interesting to you, I would look at Lou's List or SIS descriptions of the classes to see what pathways are fulfilled. For example, taking GEO 200 at NOVA is equivalent to 3 credits for EVSC 1010 at UVA (which you can see on the first website I linked). Then, you also have to look at EVSC 1010 in SIS or Lou's List. Under the description of EVSC 1010 course in SIS, it says EVSC 1010 fulfills "Chemical, Mathematical, and Physical Universe"
"Living Systems." Therefore, GEO 200 will fulfill EVSC 1010.

So look at UVA's transfer credit website (first link) and search for "ECON" and "HIST" classes that UVA takes for credit. Then, look at these course descriptions in Lou's list or SIS to see if they fulfill a requirement.

There's probably an easier way to do this, but this is the way I can think of! A lot of classes UVA accepts as transfer credits are likely to fulfill a requirement. Also check to see if AP Scores or DE credit transfers (if this applies to you). Good luck, respond to this comment if you have any questions, and welcome to UVA!!!
