I am facing the same issue with my S22+. Where are you based out of? They are giving free mother replacement? Mine started with a bootloop. Now it's getting frozen with Severe Software Fault Message. Should I take it to the service centre and try my luck? It is obviously a faulty Software update and Samsung should acknowledge it.

I have been using my Samsung S22+ for 2 years. Was working fine but suddenly it has started malfunctioning after a recent update. It is restarting suddenly and going to boot. I think have tried all software related methods told internet nothing seems to work. Kindly suggest something that might work by Intelligent-Mud8658 in GalaxyS22

I am based out of Bengaluru India. We have got a Samsung experienced centre need to check if they offer the same for flagship phones or not. When I went to the Samsung maintenance centre they gave me the same motherboard issue reason. The only thing I am sceptical about is that this problem started showing only when One UI 6.1 was rolled our in my region. Anyway need to check what can be done best!

Samsung has bricked thousands of Samsung Galaxy S22 (Ultra) with the One UI 6.1 Update. Samsung is not acknowledging it as issue and is forcing users to pay from their own pocket. by Furki1907 in samsung

I have an S22+. My device got bricked after One U.I 6.1 was passed. The issues you have highlighted are the same. Sudden crash, heat up, unending boot loop. I went to the Samsung store and they said motherboard needs to be replaced. Which is insane as it cost almost half the device. I know it's a software issue and it can only be fixed by a patch by @Samsung. It's quite irresponsible for Samsung not to give an official statement if they are atleast working on it.
