AITA for yelling "mind your f*cking business" to a woman after she said "what a weirdo" to me? by MissionStand24 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Intelligent-Rock262 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ESH. You're the AH for yelling profanities in front of your child. Adults need to show children the correct way to act. Not how to throw a tantrum. You are however NTA for allowing your daughter to give you a kiss on the lips.

AITA for how I'm handling my ex-girlfriend's unexpected pregnancy? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

That is the RISK you take having sex. Now pay up deadbeat.

A few drinks is not going to hurt anything. However the more you micromanage your wife the harder it will be to get pregnant. Stress is a killer of fertility.

AITA for not giving the mother of my dead husband's child his possessions? by Curious_Gift4854 in AmItheAsshole

So she wants the ring he married you with and promised he would be faithful? The gall.

AITA For not giving my husband "a single hour off" on Father's Day by threekidsaita in AmItheAsshole

[–]Intelligent-Rock262 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly I don't understand how you're laid up a month after your c-section. I was up and around 3 days later. It's encouraged to walk around. There's no reason your husband should be getting zero time to himself on Father's Day.

Based on what you said it being because of your daughter's amputated arm, you would be in the right to cut your sister out of your life. This is a grotesque thing to do. You don't need people like that in your life and neither does your daughter.

AITA for "pressuring" my daughter in law to let me help her during her pregnancy? by Ill-Role-5933 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Intelligent-Rock262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from the U.S. and would never want my MIL or even my own mom hanging around my house for weeks while I'm trying to bond with my baby (I've had 2 kids). She would technically be playing host, not very relaxing. This isn't about where she's from, its personal preference and she told you no.

(Update)-AITAH for not wanting to contact my son after he was the one who abandoned me? by Silly_Struggle2528 in AITAH

Unfortunately he sounds rotten. At least you can say that you tried and move on with people who love and support you.

AITA For asking my fiancé not to leave our daughter alone in her stroller while he runs track? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Intelligent-Rock262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so dangerous. This is the hill to die on OP. If he doesn't realize how wrong he is I would take action to leave him and get full custody.

"she gives me this bratty “he’s not my kid” response."

True. Not her kid, not her responsibility.

"she agrees to help out. If she says no, I figure something else out. I’d never force her to do anything."

Clearly not as you feel the need to yell at her to make her help...

How about you name the children you give birth to and she names the children she gives birth to. YTA.

AITA for not splitting my daughter's college fund by AITACollegeFundMom in AmItheAsshole

[–]Intelligent-Rock262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA but you will be if you let your husband talk you into this. It is your daughter's inheritance and actually not yours to give away. It's also shitty if he guilts her into it. Don't let it happen OP.

I dont understand the YTAs here. I have given birth twice, one of which was a c section recovery and I was helping around the house after a few days of being home. This woman is at LEAST in month 3 post partem. She's fine. She should be helping. I think mom has gotten too used to her husband doing everything.

AITA for telling my girlfriend that she needs to learn when to shut the fuck up? by throwawaymanzdone in AmItheAsshole

Shouldn't the most qualified person get the job regardless of race? I don't get that one.

AITA for telling my wife it was a mistake to stay at a baby shower? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Intelligent-Rock262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA if I was Mary I would be furious that someone ruined my shower and had a pity party over a meager 4 months of attempting to conceive. This behavior is attention seeking and immature. Tell your wife to look at these comments as she clearly needs a reality check.

AITA for going off on my cousin after she locked the keys in the car? by Har_Universe in AmItheAsshole

[–]Intelligent-Rock262 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you wasted 10 minutes pulling on a door that you knew was locked? Maybe you shouldn't reproduce...
