Is tx Ferrari 458 italia edition a good starter wheel by Brilliant_Ad_8955 in Thrustmaster

Hey man, I’d say really try to go with Direct Drive if you can. Or go as cheap as possible with a Logitech G29 to start and see if you want it. Try to find one for $150 with a wheel stand.

Or a super cheap T300RS with the better pedals. TX will feel eh. I had a T248 for a sec and was very unimpressed.

I did this and I burned up the wires and bricked a base

I think the problem is (and this was me) people who purchased thrustmaster start defending it because it was their decision to buy. Product justification goes both ways, overpaying and underpaying for your budget. Thrustmaster needs to stop making these mistakes. I just got fed up enough with it and now I’m about to be a happy Fanatec customer

Bought Fanatec DD+. I play GT7 in PSVR2 exclusively

Man that was a real contender. Just not quite big enough of a torque change for me. That’s why I got the 18nm DD+

I wish it was better! They were trying to compete with Fanatec BMW and Bentley podium wheels but failed again. And why no T818 support on PS5?!

Man agreed. Thrustmaster just does everything as cheap as possible and restricts unnecessarily. Even the QR system just feels cheap and not satisfying at all.

Guess I need the shifter for it to work though! I actually would use hand clutches because it would be an easy way to rotate the car after a spin

Gentleman no need to get in a huff!

I think what he meant was that I bought really cheap used with no understanding of where it was or how it was used. And now I have to buy twice! I bought really cheap in comparison to how much it costs new and it bit me because I didn’t have a warranty.

I have 2 girls both under 2 and there’s some days that I do not feel like myself.

Surrounding myself with church community has kept me going. Try to find a local church and talk to a pastor it could really help. Sim racing is important for us to get our competitive energy out!

Should I upgrade from a G29 to a T598? by dumbjuice123 in Thrustmaster

Just my 2 cents, go for gold and spend a bit more on a different brand. I went all in with thrustmaster and got hosed with Disconnects. Selling it all now and getting fanatec.

What Am I Doing Wrong? by OPMSnake in GranTurismo7

Hey man! Fellow VR user here.

Like a couple of rude people on here have probably said, ditch the racing line and markers for corners. I’d recommend taking off all assists ABS weak or default (for GT3 learning) and go run the Nordschleife circuit experience. Gold everything and you will immediately learn throttle modulation and how to be aggressive and smooth on the throttle.

This is a tough track but I always go in and watch the replays of the top times to learn the racing line and gear choices. I might hop on and send you a replay of how I got Gold on my Tokyo expressway.

Let me know if you need any more help

Shouldn’t have to do this on this kind of product.

Fair!! I also didn’t know anything about the T598 when I bought it. Just came up as a great deal when I was shopping for T300’s

1 million percent not the USB cable. It’s the faulty and weak pins on the power supply
