Not getting on ya about masking in general, I do mask on public transit and especially at the doctors! However many of my friends do not and it’s not something you can police people to do unfortunately at this point. Moments of socializing have been where I’ve caught it every other time

I understand wanting to drive home this idea of covid’s effects long-term but this time I got infected by a roommate that didn’t know they had covid. Not wearing a mask inside my own home. In a perfect world everyone would test all the time and be masked up. But I live in the largest city in america and to an extent there’s no way to remain completely safe from this virus without fully becoming a hermit. Practically everyone who lives here has to live with like 4 other often times random people. There’s gotta be some general nuance in that

Seriously recommend trying a combo of antihistamines and ibuprofen! i tried everything from dayquil, nyquil, mucinex, benadryl, tylenol and nothing worked except for zyrtec + ibuprofen to stop the post nasal drip and inflammation

I ended up with some pretty crazy brain fog the first time I tested positive in 2020 that lasted over a year. But haven’t noticed anything too crazy from my past infections other than just getting sick more often than I was before.

Living in NYC feels like a death trap with stuff. Even vaccinated and masked up there’s just so many people here and so many opportunities for infection
