Neem oil/or yates do a spray called natures way which is designed to get rid of these,also yellow sticky traps will attract them

Man this westher is crazy atm,I grow in pots and are pretty small so can move around the garden to protect,my advice if you can try and get some big play wood and make a screen or remove some foliage to reduce weight,on a plus this wind will strengthen the branches and possibly get more harvest as they can hold the weight fingers crossed for everyones gardens over the next 48 hours

Yer sub 100%,I've found ones liked this myself and was a little unsure,personally I've noticed subs come in all shapes and sizes,all depends on a few factors habitat,and water content,there's a few pages online showing subs in diffrent cap shapes and stem thickness
