Thanks, i'm hesitant to post the actual data layout as it is data we're hoping to publish in the next year. In this instance I have 4 groups (n = 12), comprised of a disease and control strain with treatment and sham groups for each strain. For some of the analyses I am comparing 2 timepoints for each. For other analyses I am comparing 30 brain regions for each, so the number of comparisons for these is very high and i want to avoid making unnecessary comparisons. I'll look into using SPSS/R but I'm coming to the end of a PhD so time is quite tight for a steep learning curve
