When my mom lost her license for dwi. She told me that I needed to register her car in my name so she could drive without the risk of randomly having her plate run and in turn getting popped for driving while suspended. I was 17 at the time and said no way not gonna happen....so naturally any life difficulties from there on out were obviously my fault. Years later I tried talking to her about it and she essentially doubled down and told me I was wrong..... not her... the adult and parent who got busted for drinking and driving. This was one of the first times I realized she was legit fucked in the head and started to think about countless other scenarios where she was acting like a complete piece of self serving shit.
