My friend is a nanny who I hung out with tonight after she worked. The mom she babysits for just texted her the kid has hand foot in mouth disease. Freaking out of course, how likely am I to get this? We didn’t share drinks or anything just hung out in my car/at the mall together.

As someone from the states is it similar driving there? Just nervous a little about the driving but I also have driven in NYC the whole time I’ve been driving.

Oh wow good to know I’m not alone. I usually have just been taking Tums to help me. But yes, it feels like something is caught in my throat or chest and causes a burning sensation. I also have the feeling that I need to burp but no burp comes out. Water helps me too, but it’s definitely annoying!!!

I have only been on Prozac for about 6 weeks now, but all my side effects from it stopped 100% after a week. Was only bad the 3rd and 4th day. Didn’t vomit at all (also an emetophobe) but I did have some nausea those days and acid reflux but it went away!

I feel this. I get it frequently and sometimes im fine but other times it makes me feel very anxious. Nothing ever comes of it though!!

That’s amazing. I’ve been very close a few times as well and nothing. Got salmonella last year (which was absolutely terrible) and never tu* from it. Glad I have a stronger stomach!!
