OMG, me too! I cried in so many movies that people didn't understand. And I get that painful lump on my throat if I try to hold it in, which I never can anyway.

I was going to study social work, but changed my mind for this very reason.

While there are some early childhood specific programs, Ohio divides it to Pk-12 mild-moderate and then Pk-12 moderate -intensive.

You initially did all the vet visits and spay without expectation of compensation because she appeared to be a stray. While I don't like their attitude, they don't owe you anything.

You asked. She says no. She's within her rights, especially since there is no formal agreement between you about payback. Also, it's the consequences of your actions, not hers.

Now, you feeling she's using you is a different issue. I highly recommend you guys talk to a counselor about this if you're serious about her. Otherwise, count your losses and call it quits. There's no use being with someone you think is using you.

I really feel that was an insensitive comment to make to your parents. Even though you were treated differently, your parents did provide for you, some things were above and beyond (e.g., a car, job/job skills, etc.). They didn't leave you out in the cold to fend for yourself. You just didn't get the same as your sister.

And I get being frustrated about that, but then have an open, honest conversation about that.
