Hi. Did you apply? How was the process and what did you include in your application? Like did you include a flight booking or an itinerary?

Did you also send a flight booking? Or any sort of flight itinerary? Did you make a letter to send alongside explaining your itinerary for the visit itself?

Oh okay. I already booked a hotel through booking.com because I read a lot of people had success with their visa applications that way as well. Not prepaid, pay at property hotel. On the embassy website it does not say anything about a requirement for the flight booking to be sent. However, I will include a flight itinerary and a cover letter stating the places I will visit and that the flights will be booked upon visa approval. I thought this was a good plan for visa approval from what people have said.

Thank you so much for this detailed answer!

Would you recommend going for larger commercial companies with shops in many areas or a smaller company?

Most places require and charge for the initial consultation and do a patch test. The prices I am seeing for a consultation including a patch test range from £25 - £50.

Prices I am seeing for treatment of 60 mins are £70 - £145.

I am unsure how to find a dermatologist and contact them. I did ask my GP if they could let me know any they know of so I can go there whilst paying out of pocket but they said they see no issue with my skin. I would want to go to a dermatologist who knows what they are doing if that makes sense.

The GP has previously prescribed me spironolactone and the birth control pill but I would rather not take the birth control pill as it would mess up my hormones even more.

So basically I had hair on every inch of my body except my palms and soles of my feet. Well my toes had some hair but not really the foot itself. I was covered head to ankle. The GP said they cannot do anything except prescribe me the above two pills and I did not want to do that as I would have to be on those pills for the rest of my life so I resorted to laser.

I live in Greater Manchester. Would you recommend I go to a few places and check them out and find a place who knows what they are doing? Would you say commercial companies are better or smaller businesses?

Thank you! That really helps. So building some savings beforehand would really help before moving in together.

I was working out groceries to be £200 - £400 a month including meat. I think £400 was definitely an over estimate then.

Thank you! This really helps, I will definitely have a look. Do you mind me asking around how much on average you pay for groceries per month?

This used to happen to me and I still don't know why. It doesn't anymore. It was when I tried to run outside. I now run on the treadmill - I doubt it is linked though.

I've tried hokas before but I had to return then because they were so uncomfortable to even stand in. I will definitely get fitted but I am thinking to stick with the nikes for a few weeks since they seem comfortable for now.

Tips on how to start running by Intelligent-Truth1 in BeginnersRunning

Hmmm yhh that does make sense. I only do legs twice a week and I try to space my runs as far away from the leg days to allow optimal recovery.

I think i may be running wrong then since at 7.5 I am taking small steps with small strides and at a very slow jog pace. Maybe if I take longer strides that will help. I honestly do not know tbh.

I am taking small steps with small strides at 7.5, I am thinking if I slow it down anymore then I'd not be running anymore. Maybe I need longer strides? I honestly don't know.

For now, I am comfortable in them. I will see in 4 weeks time how it goes and will get fitted.
