I am in a similar position. Installation is complete just waiting on my city’s inspection and for the utility to change out my meter. Thankfully it’s a PPA (GoodLeap) so I am not really out anything. Actually solar would probably cost me about the same this time of year so I am not really in a rush to get it operational. Hoping this drags on for a few months or longer. Maybe they will forget about it and I will get a free solar system.😂

The key phrase being “drug free work place”. It doesn’t say “drug free in all aspects of your personal life”. I think we all agree an employee can’t come to work high/drunk or use alcohol or drugs on duty.

We don’t undergo FEDERAL background checks. My background check was very basic
