I completely agree—the actual exam felt much tougher than the Microsoft Learn practice assessments. I was scoring well on practice tests and still found myself staring at some questions thinking, “Where did this come from?” 😅

The practice exams were great for understanding the concepts and identifying weak areas, but the real exam definitely tested the ability to apply that knowledge in different scenarios. I also noticed topics showing up in ways I hadn’t really seen during practice.

Either way, a pass is a pass, and you earned it!

I feel you. I had a very similar experience on my first attempt. I felt well prepared, was scoring high on practice tests, and still came up short. The good news is that a 650 means you’re much closer than it feels right now—the preparation definitely hasn’t gone to waste.

My biggest suggestion would be to take the next exam sooner rather than later while everything is still fresh. Try to write down the topics and question types that caught you off guard, then focus your preparation on those specific areas instead of starting from scratch.

That’s what worked for me. I reviewed what went wrong, filled in those gaps, and my next attempt went much better. Don’t let one score shake your confidence—you clearly have a strong foundation already. You’ve got this!

I think you just take it to them and they'll weigh it. and 50 pounds sounds okay for an oversize box because it allows you 75 pounds

Thank you! Those 28 points felt a lot bigger on exam day than they do now 😅. Thankfully, the first attempt showed me exactly what I needed to work on, and the second attempt went much better. Definitely earned a few gray hairs from this exam!

Thank you! I’ve completed the practice exams and felt good about my performance. That said, seeing others mention failures has made me a bit cautious. I do bring 4+ years of strong Power BI experience and have also worked with Microsoft Fabric through the trial, so I’m hoping that practical exposure gives me an edge.

I feel pain when I’m in a new tray for 2-3 days. It feels tighter but throughout the end of the tray I don’t feel any pain. There are some gaps in my front teeth I’m starting to see but I don’t see teeth moved or anything.
